iSleep - An Insomnia Remedy from the Amazon for Sleep and General Wellbeing.

iSleep has been carefully formulated to help support a restful sleep without the sluggish feeling in the morning which often occurs with other herbs or pharmaceuticals.  iSleep will also assist in your generall wellbeing so you can feel great without any side effects.

Insomnia is a serious problem for many people around the world; sleep is an essential need of all humans.  Manmade insomnia drugs can be very expensive, habit-forming, and lose their effectiveness over time. They also have dangerous side effects and accumulate in the body causing constipation problems.  Many people feel sluggish in the morning after taking artificial insomnia remedies.

Due to these problems, many people are turning to natural, herbal supplements, like "iSleep".  The people of the Amazon have been using the three herbs in the iSleep formula for centuries.

Gradually, the rest of the world is learning about how these safe herbs calm, relax and cure sleeping disorders. Mulungu, Passionflower, and Catuaba share medicinal qualities that calm nerves, relieve pain, and reduce anxiety.

iSleep3.jpgEach herb has its own medicinal characteristics:

+ Mulungu is known as a sedative that leads to drowsiness for a good night's sleep.

+ Passionflower has a tranquilizing effect promoting healthy sleep.

+ Catuaba treats insomnia related to hypertension, agitation, or stress.

Natural, herb remedies are great at treating insomnia and other sleep disorders without the dangerous side effects of artificial pills.  Learn what the world has recognized about the great herbal remedy, "iSleep," which provides a healthy night's sleep.

Mulungu - Nature's Sedative

Known by its botanical name, Erythrina mulungu, mulungu is a medium sized tree sometimes called "coral flower" because its flowers resemble orange coral.  It is native to Brazil, parts of Peru, and tropical areas of Latin America.  Used in herbal medicine as a sedative, mulungu can promote restful sleep as well as treat asthma, bronchitis, hepatitis, high blood pressure, inflammation of the liver and spleen, and epilepsy.  Mulungu is not widely known in North America; however, it has been used by herbalists to quiet hysteria from trauma and to regulate heart palpitations in addition to the more traditional uses.

Mulungu's benefits were validated in 2002 when researchers concluded that use of mulungu positively altered anxiety-related responses.  In fact, the results from the mulungu extract were similar to those of the popular anti-anxiety drug diazepam.  Further research has shown mulungu's positive results when used to treat throat and urinary infections.  It also effectively kills pain and bacteria and has antioxidant properties. It may also work for nicotine addiction and has an appetite suppressant.

With no known side effects beyond drowsiness, mulungu is a safer alternative to the popular kava-kava herb that is used for stress, anxiety, and as a sedative.  Kava-kava has been linked with negative side effects on the liver.  Not only is mulungu effective for stress, anxiety, and insomnia, but also, it has been shown to have positive effects on the liver.

Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata)

For thousands of years, the Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) has proven to be a medicinal wonder of nature.  Also commonly known as Maypop, this woody vine that is indigenous to the rainforests of South America produces striking flowers as well as herbs in its leaves and stems that have been proven to have a calming effect for many human disorders.  Based upon its potent extracts and the relaxing effect they provide, this plant was named Medicinal Plant of the Year 2011 by a University of Wuerzburg study group on the historical development of medicinal plants.

The natural curative properties of the passionflower arise from a unique combination of alkaloids, glycosides and flavonoids found in its leaves, flowers and stems.  It also contains serotonin and other natural chemicals which are proven compounds for producing calming effects on the brain and body.  These extracts, when consumed through pills, powers or tea brewed from the leaves, help with insomnia and sleep disorders, depression, anxiety, headaches, migraines, stomach problems and the relieve of menstrual cramps.  The flower's medicinal compounds are also effective in serving as an antispasmodic to help calm seizures and other disorders of the central nervous system. The flower's main effect is thought to come from a chain of molecules that inhibit certain neurotransmitters.

Unlike many psychotropic drugs, passionflower has no muscle-relaxing effects. For this reason, it can be used as a good general sedative that can be taken during during the day. The only side-affect is that it may cause slight drowsiness.

Catuaba (Erythroxylum catuaba)

Erythroxylum catuaba is a tree grown in the rainforrest in Brazil and other regions in South America.  It has been used in the Amazon for generations to help both men and women with sexual impotence. Extensive studies have been done on Catuaba with impressive results.  The bark of the Catuaba is used to help with many conditions.

While some companies sell Catuaba derived from other species, Erythroxylum catuaba and Trichilia catigua are the only types with known healing properties.  It is very crucial that a person know which type of Catuaba they are purchasing in order to ensure they will benefit from the formula.

Catuaba is commonly used for low libido and used as a central nervous system stimulant.  However, Catuaba is also used to treat pain, fatigue, and insomnia.  Studies have shown Catuaba to have antibacterial, antiviral, and anticancerous properties.  In Peru, Catuaba is used to treat skin cancer.  These are not the only benefits of taking Catuaba.  Catuaba is also known to reduce anxiety and relax the blood vessels.

No side effects have been reported from using Catuaba. There have been no drug contradictions reported with Catuaba. Catuaba can be taken as a tincture or made as a tea.
